Aluminum Engine Blocks cast for Fejer Bothers and George Eaton. George Eaton (Eaton's Dept. Stores) was rookie of the year at the INDY 500 in 1970. Early in July blueprints were sent to Vernon Corp.to construct tooling to produce aluminum engine blocks and various components for the new flat boxer opposed 8 cylinder engine. Fejer Brothers Racing were the builders for George Eaton. A total of 13 engines
were cast and the completed cars qualified for the INDY 500 the following May.
